“Netanyahu can get away with murder because Israel controls the worlds high technology sector – over and above even the US.

That “American” you see “controlling” something? He or she is an American Jew or Zionist, dual national Israeli American citizen.

Israel rules. Until we target specifically this control of the high technology sector and specifically The Talpiot Program, we will all continue to wonder how Israel gets away with all it does.

It is a racist state of the most odious kind. But who will stand up to them?

From medical nanotechnology to cybersecurity to private hacking companies to military technology to police databases, banking, finance and medical – Israel runs them all.

This is Israel’s false flag nuke.”

The Tricky Triangle Of Iran, Russia And Israel

Something very wrong is going on between Russia, Iran and Israel. Are Iran and Israel real enemies at the very top? The answer is NO. What is the end goal here other than stealing all the oil they can get their hands on and enslaving humanity? Careful with continuing to believe in sides, because there aren’t any! It’s just the international Jewish bankers along with their bribed Goyim vs. Humanity! That is what this is all about. International Communism.

Putin “The tricky triangle of Iran, Russia and Israel,” Source:

Ali Larijani, Iran’s parliamentary speaker, has long been an advocate of better relations with Russia and his recent interview with TASS, in which he spoke of Iran’s “eastern orientation, first of all towards Russia…[as] the country’s strategic choice”, is no surprise.

But Iran’s relationships with all international powers are becoming more nuanced as the result of changes in the region. Last July’s nuclear agreement with world powers, including the ‘Great Satan’, has helped produce a diplomatic palate with many shades of grey. There are few steadfast allies or implacable enemies.

For Iran, Russia is a strategic ally in supporting Syria’s president Bashar al-Assad,and Russia is also a potential partner in shaping the global gas market as the two countries with the largest reserves. But there are still important differences between Moscow and Tehran.

Even though Russia is contracted to Iran over nuclear energy – the provider of Bushehr, Iran’s only operating station, and in talks over eight more – it blocked neither Iran’s referral to the UN security council in 2006 nor the subsequent sanctions.

In 2005 Larijani began his first of two years as secretary of the Supreme National Security Council pursuing a ‘tilt to Moscow’ that he believed could stop both referral and UN sanctions.

In January 2006, as the prospect of referral to the security council loomed, Larijani told me in an interview in Tehran that Iran was exploring possibilities with Moscow for enriching uranium on Russian soil. Larijani was in typical good form, with the quick wit of a man who had studied Kant.

Expressing disdain for the western countries’ request for a document supposedly from the network of rogue Pakistani scientist AQ Khan showing a weapons design, Larijani quipped: “If you can find anyone in the world who can make a bomb with one and a half pages, we will cover their whole body with gold.”
Larijani’s sharpness didn’t, however, make the ‘tilt to Moscow’ successful. I was later told by a regime insider that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the leader, felt badly let down by Larijani when Russia backed UN sanctions, and one can surmise this was a factor in his replacement in October 2007 by Saeid Jalili.

A decade later, the Geneva nuclear agreement has made possible closer ties between Iran and Russia, with Moscow now saying it will supply the S300 missile defense system it deemed blocked under UN sanctions. Russian companies are itching to win contracts in Iran.

Tehran and Moscow are also on the same side in Syria backing president Assad, with Iranian advisors from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Russian air strikes and a more limited troop presence. But even in Syria, there are nuances – and one important difference between Iran and Russia is rooted in Moscow’s close relationship with Israel, a state Tehran says it will never recognize.

When Russia began bombing groups in rebellion against Assad in September, there was a real danger of a flare-up with Israel, which has itself hit targets in Syria on the other side of the conflict, given its concerns over Assad’s alliance with Hezbollah, the militant Lebanese group with whom it last went to war in 2006.

Yossi Alpher, a former Mossad analyst and operative, recently told me that “coordination” between Russia and Israel over Syria and been a success and represented “a major strategic development in the Middle East”.

“When the Russian air-force began setting up in the Alawite coast of Syria, the first foreign leader to go to Russia, who rushed to meet Putin, was Bibi” Netanyahu, Israeli prime minister, said Alpher. “[Netanyahu told them]: ‘Okay we’ll have our armies coordinate. You’re bombing, we occasionally bomb to interdict arms transfers to Hezbollah’.”

The biggest potential flashpoint between Russia and Israel has been in Russian planes flying over Israeli-held territory in the Golan – but both sides have been prepared to take the action necessary to prevent the kind of incident in which Turkey downed a Russian plane in November.

“We shot down Syrian planes that flew over the Golan, but not Russian planes,” said Alpher, adding that co-ordination had been done “very efficiently” given that reaction time in such incidents might be only seconds.

Alpher has a long standing interest in Iran’s role on the wider regional chess board. His book Periphery, published last year, looked at a doctrine according to which Israel has long sought allies in the Middle East, including Iran before the 1979 Revolution: in it, he recalled his presence in a discussion in Mossad in 1979 over whether to kill Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.

Alpher’s compelling new book, No End of Conflict, focuses on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in an attempt to restore the centrality of an issue he feels is being neglected, and in it he looks at Israel’s growing relations with the Arab states, including Saudi Arabia, that are born in part of a shared fear of Iran.

“We have never had the present degree of strategic cooperation with our Arab neighbours – with Egypt over Gaza and Sinai; with Jordan with regard to Syria and Iraq; with the Saudis with regard to Iran and Daesh [Islamic State group],” he told me. “They’re not pressuring us on the Palestinian issue, which makes the issue less urgent.”

Unlike many of the Israeli right, Alpher is unhappy with this. He believes demographic change in the occupied West Bank is undermining the chance of a two-state solution with Israel remaining a democratic, Jewish state. “[As] we swallow up the West Bank and east Jerusalem, and do nothing about Gaza,” he told me, “we are pushing ourselves down this slippery slope towards becoming something that is no longer a Jewish, Zionist, democratic entity.”

Like Larijani, Alpher has his eye on Russia, and plans his next book on Israel’s relationship with Moscow going back to the Soviet period.

His “former bosses” in Mossad have told him it will have to be a novel. “They said, ‘You wanna write about this? Only as fiction’.”

Putin - Abbas

Trump Just Handed Russia An Opening In The Middle East Peace Process

Russia ‘worried’ about Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital? Who are they trying to fool? Mahmoud Abbas was a KGB agent in the 80’s. Putin and Netanyahu, have a cozy relationship. Putin has called on European Jews to take refuge in Russia. How about the strong relationship between Putin and Chabad Lubavitch? There is clearly no doubt that they are all in the same boat, and that, of course, includes Trump! So what is all this brainwashing about? Will Putin be ‘the one’ to bring ‘peace’ to the Middle East as prophesied in the Bible?

“(15) When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) (16) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: (17) Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: (18) Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. (19) And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! (20) But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day. (21) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” (Matthew 24:15-21)

Putin - Abbas “Trump just handed Russia an opening in the Middle East peace process,” Source:

Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital didn’t just obliterate decades of U.S. policy. It effectively disqualified the U.S. from leading the peace process in the eyes of the Palestinians, diplomats and analysts told VICE News.

“All of the Palestinians that I’ve talked to over the last couple days are saying: ‘Washington is now irrelevant to negotiations, and we don’t care what you say,’” said Hady Amr, U.S. deputy special envoy for Israeli-Palestinian negotiations under Barack Obama. “The PLO is humiliated and angry. Hamas is enraged.”

Ruling the U.S. out of future peace talks entirely would be premature, experts said, given its uniquely close ties to Israel. Yet Trump’s decision opens a void that no other country can easily fill. One nation in particular, however, seems eager to try: Russia.

Russia has dramatically raised its profile in the Middle East since launching a military operation in 2015 that rescued Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad’s crumbling regime in the face of resurgent rebel forces and repeated American declarations that the dictator must step down. Invigorated by its success in Syria, Russia has demonstrated a sort of diplomatic swagger the Middle East hasn’t seen since Cold War days, filling power vacuums left by America’s pullback in key arenas, diplomats and analysts said.

Russia will be a priority.”

Trump may have just given Russia yet another hole to exploit and grow its influence in the Middle East even further, said Ilan Goldenberg, chief of staff to the U.S. special envoy for Israeli-Palestinian negotiations under Obama.

“Everyone now looks at Moscow as the key arbiter that needs to be consulted on every major issue in the Middle East,” Goldenberg told VICE News. “This will only exacerbate that situation.”

The Palestinians, for their part, will likely seek support from Russia, along with other European and Arab states, said Khaled Elgindy, who advised the Palestinian leadership on permanent status negotiations with Israel from 2004 to 2009.

“Russia will be a priority” in the Palestinian search for international backing, Elgindy told VICE News. “But I see Russia as one among many.”

Even before Trump’s announcement on Wednesday, Russia had begun showing a greater interest in Israeli-Palestinian relations.

In September 2016, Russian President Vladimir Putin attempted to stage a summit in Moscow between Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Both Abbas and Netanyahu later blamed each other for dodging the meeting.

On the night before Trump’s announcement, Putin received a call from Abbas. On the phone, Putin stressed Russia’s support for the “immediate resumption of direct Palestinian-Israeli talks on all disputed issues,” according to a Kremlin statement.

This week, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Trump’s decision “defies common sense,” and Putin declared himself “deeply concerned.” And on Friday, Putin announced a trip to Turkey this coming Monday, on top of an already-arranged visit to Egypt, to discuss Jerusalem and other regional issues.

The Palestinian leadership will face enormous pressure from its own people to spurn U.S. overtures now that Washington has given away one of the main prizes Palestinians hoped to gain through peace talks — a Palestinian capital in East Jerusalem — diplomats and analysts said.

“This stops it. This stops it cold.”

But Russia’s intentions aren’t likely to translate into concrete results anytime soon, analysts said, for one simple reason: Moscow doesn’t enjoy the same special relationship with Israel that the U.S. does. Nor does it have the economic or military might that Israel so often leans on.

What comes next remains far from certain, but one thing is solidifying: For many Palestinians, the U.S.-led peace process died on Wednesday.

“This stops it. This stops it cold,” said Amanda Kadlec, an analyst at the RAND Corporation. “And because that door is now shut, Russia could see an opportunity to step in and be the peace broker.”

Vladimir Putin ‘Bathes In Blood From Severed Deer Antlers’

It shouldn’t come as a surprise to see the level of cruelty that this LIAR, TRAITOR, COMMUNIST has. If he can kill his own people in cold blood, imagine how he feels about animals. Anyone who admires Stalin has to be a cold-blooded criminal and this is no exception.

Deer Blood

  • The Kremlin leader, 64, is said to be taking the bloodbaths ‘several times a year’
  • As well as aiding men’s health, it is also said to act as a potency booster for men
  • Putin allegedly went to the Altai Mountains where 70kg of antlers were cut for him
  • Animal rights activists have condemned ‘barbaric’ practice of removing antlers
Vladimir Putin is bathing in blood extracted from the severed antlers of Maral deer in an attempt to boost his health, according to extraordinary reports in the Russian media.

Ahead of a visit to the Altai Mountains last year, some 70 kilograms of stag antlers were prepared for the Russian leader ‘to take antler baths’, reported a local media outlet.

The ancient tradition is seen as a testosterone-driven elixir to improve male health and potency, and he is said to be taking the bloodbaths several times a year.

Animal rights campaigners have condemned the ‘barbaric’ practice of sawing off the antlers without anesthetic to extract blood, dubbed a natural type of sexual performance-enhancing substance.

Putin, 64, first asked about the medicinal benefits of maral – or red deer – antler extract a decade ago and his prime minister Dmitry Medvedev is also keen on the bloodbaths, reported news outlet Republic.

Since that time the President has apparently visited Altai many times, sometimes as frequently as several times a year.

He consulted maral blood medical expert Alexander Zuykov, according to Expert magazine.

There are unconfirmed claims the Kremlin strongman introduced ex-Italian premier Silvio Berlusconi to the practice during a Siberian visit in 2015.

One Altai farm – which exports antlers for use in Chinese medicinal cures – stated: ‘Extract from red deer antlers acts as a strong tonic, especially for men’s potency.

‘It strengthens the body’s bones, muscles, teeth, eyesight and hearing, cures pleurisy, pneumonia, asthma, joint pain, osteoporosis, and problems with the spine’.

The antlers were called horns of gold in 15th-century Russian literature – and are believed to improve sexual performance.

Blood is extracted and boiled into a broth which is used for red-colored baths.

Lena Lenina

Some Russians prefer to drink the blood, for example, TV presenter Lena Lenina.

Disturbing accounts tell how the animals are ‘herded into a special cutting chamber where a press closes in on the stag from each side, while the floor lowers, so the deer is left in suspended animation, its head thrust onto a ledge as if condemned to the guillotine, its hooves flailing but unable to touch the ground’.

Observers say the creatures are ‘bewildered’ and ‘shellshocked’, their eyes ‘bulging with fright’ .

Some Russians also drink the blood, including TV presenter Lena Lenina (pictured)

Two or three stand on the stag’s back from above, one holds the prized antlers, his trainer on the animal’s muzzle, immobilizing the head. One cuts the antlers, his foot on the back of the neck, preventing the beast moving a centimeter until it is divested of its valuable trophy’.

Irina Novozhilova, president of Russian Animal Protection Centre Vita, said the method was ‘totally abnormal’.

‘Bloodbaths. This is manipulating nature, without any sense,’ she said.

‘It is a pure example of a cruel attitude to animals.’

She suggested the process was medieval, saying: ‘It is strange that we are discussing this matter in the 21st century, because the faith in the effectiveness of this medicine made from antlers comes from ancient times.

‘Ancient people did believe that they could cure themselves with the help of animal body parts.

‘In medieval times people also believed in curative substances. I recall stories about bloody Countess Bathory who enjoyed taking baths in the blood of young girls.

‘And King James I of England regularly took baths with animal blood.

‘Both these facts sound wild nowadays, but you can build a parallel to these legal red deer farms.’

MONEY: Putin’s Revenge May See Petro-Yuan Replace Petrodollar

The United States has been in steady decline for sometime fighting endless wars on behalf of Israel. The Tribe knows this quite well, and therefore the financial power structure is moving East out of necessity. Russia and China will become the new centers of the world with International Jewry moving to Moscow and Beijing — indeed, establishing a communist NWO.

Some may say this is an impossible task for the Tribe to undertake — moving out of the West. We say not at all as this has happened many times throughout their history. Please read Eustice Mullin’s book entitled “New History of the Jews” for some reference on this topic if you have any doubts.

“Putin’s revenge may see petro-yuan replace petrodollar,” Source:

The key to the coming petro-yuan lies in Moscow. And, if the Chinese currency eventually succeeds in usurping the long-standing petrodollar, Washington will only have itself to blame.

News that China plans to launch a yuan-denominated oil futures contract by the end of this year has come as a surprise to many analysts. However, Russia experts aren’t startled in the slightest because this move has been coming since Moscow abandoned its quarter-century attempt to integrate with the West, following the 2014 Ukraine crisis. A catastrophe which the Kremlin blames on the United States and the European Union, as part of what it considers to be an attempt to reduce Russian influence in its “near abroad.”

Beijing’s scheme aims to shift trade in “black gold” from petrodollars to a proposed petro-yuan. Which benefits China by making its currency more attractive internationally and providing greater energy security. However, the biggest winners may well be in Moscow. Because any decline in the dollar’s status severely dilutes Washington’s ability to wage economic war against Russia, via sanctions.

As the world’s biggest petroleum producer, Russia is vital to Beijing’s project. And, in turn, as the planet’s largest crude importer and most sizable economy (measured by purchasing power parity), China is the only country with the heft to challenge American financial hegemony.

Of course, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping can’t achieve their aims alone. Because if the petro-yuan is to succeed, other leading oil-drilling nations, will need to come on board. And, while Iran, Indonesia, and Venezuela have indicated their interest in the project, the key is tempting the Arab states to trade in yuan. And this essentially means Saudi Arabian cooperation is the big prize.

Plan of Action

Because, after all, the petrodollar was born in Jeddah in 1974, when the US Treasury Secretary William Simon convinced the Saudis that America was the safest place to park their oil revenue. And this cash flow has allowed the US to live beyond its means for decades.

However, in recent years, relations have become frayed, with Washington’s support for its fracking industry crushing petroleum prices and causing severe fiscal pain for the Saudis. Indeed, the primary reason for Riyadh’s developing detente with Russia has been a mutual desire to prevent a further slide in energy earnings. As a result, earlier this month, King Salman made a historic visit to Moscow, where the yuan plan was surely on the agenda.

Informed analysts insist the Saudis will have to come on board: “I believe that yuan pricing of oil is coming and as soon as the Saudis move to accept it — as the Chinese will compel them to do — then the rest of the oil market will move along with them,” Carl Weinberg, chief economist and managing director at High-Frequency Economics, told CNBC.

The Masterplan

The roots of the petro-yuan lie in a series of “color revolutions” in the former USSR, which convinced Moscow that the West would never treat it as an equal partner. This culminated in a March 2014 speech, in the Kremlin’s majestic Georgievsky Hall, where Vladimir Putin addressed over 1,000 Russian dignitaries. But this was no ordinary keynote. Because tensions between Russia and the West were at levels not seen since the Cold War.

Just a few weeks previously, Ukraine’s government had been violently removed and, amid the chaos, Moscow had hastily moved to reabsorb its “lost province” of Crimea.

A strategically important peninsula, which had been controversially transferred to Kiev in 1954, when the two formed a union-state. At the same time, pro-Russian protests raged in the eastern Ukrainian cities of Donetsk and Lugansk.

Back then, a stern Putin memorably said: “if you compress the spring all the way to its limit, it will snap back hard. You must always remember this.”

Indeed, ever since the United States imposed anti-Russia sanctions, first in 2012, ostensibly due to death of an accountant named Sergey Magnitsky, and the European Union, in 2014, in response to the Ukraine crisis, Moscow has been searching for ways to push back at the coercive measures.

The retaliation toward the EU was relatively straightforward: a food import ban, which has had the positive side effect of significantly boosting the domestic Russian agriculture industry, after initially contributing to inflation. However, due to a much smaller interdependency in trade, it’s proved harder to get even with Washington. Until now that is.

There is little doubt Moscow is hoping to engineer a US economic crisis to cripple its perpetual foe. Indeed, as CNBC also notes: “Russia and China have sought to operate in a non-dollar environment when trading oil. Both countries have also increased their efforts to mine and acquire physical gold if, or perhaps when, the dollar collapses.”

If the Saudis don’t play ball, they risk losing further market share. Especially, after new gas and oil pipelines from Russia to China begin operation next year. And there’s also the prospect that Chinese investors could boycott the IPO of state behemoth Saudi Aramco next year.

Meanwhile, there are high expectations for the petro-yuan. Because anything that weakens the American ability to wage economic war, and destabilize the Eurasian space, is a major win for the Kremlin. Furthermore, Putin may also consider the end of dollar dominance to be an important part of his legacy as he prepares for a likely final term as Russian President.

White nationalist leader Richard Spencer gave Israel as an example of an “ethno-state” he aspires to create in the United States during a controversial speech at the University of Florida on Thursday. Hundreds protested Spencer’s presence outside the auditorium.
“The Jewish state of Israel is not just another country in the Middle East. It is a country for Jews around the world,” he said. The audience booed at the mention of Israel.

Spencer also mentioned Poland, Russia and Hungary as “European states that want to uphold their identities,” saying that he doesn’t “want the world to be an undifferentiated mass of individuals going shopping in a global economy.”

He said that, “like Jews in the 19th century had an ideal of Zionism,” he and his compatriots have a dream of a white American “ethno-state.”

Hundreds of people protested Spencer’s presence outside the building with signs and anti-Nazi chants. Police officers stood outside the UF Phillips Center for the Performing Arts to prevent violence, while protesters shouted, “Not in our town! Not in our state! We don’t want your Nazi hate!”

Spencer resorted to baiting the audience in the half-empty auditorium as they chanted loudly, “go home Spencer, go home!” and the speech quickly descended into a shouting match as Spencer and his audience traded insults.

To the boos and chants and jeers, he yelled defiantly “I’m not going home!” He bemoaned the oppression he said he experienced in Charlottesville, where he said “free speech was stifled.”

“You can’t shut any of us up. No one can hear you. The whole world is watching this. They don’t hear anything you are saying. All they hear is a bunch of shrieking and grunting morons. That’s not an argument,” Spencer shouted.

“Within all of you is a hidden doubt about the system you are experiencing, about a system that isn’t just anti-white, a system that is against all identities,” he said.
As the crowd chanted “Black Lives Matter!” he chuckled, “consider the absurdity of yelling this at me.”

“You aren’t speaking. You are trying to create a mob that will shut down free speech are you adults, are you ready to speak for yourself. You all look like pre-schoolers who aren’t ready for ideas that might get a little challenging,” Spencer said.

>> Richard Spencer tells Israelis they ‘should respect’ him: ‘I’m a white Zionist’ >>

The school estimates it is spending $600,000 on security to ensure no repeat of violent clashes connected to a white nationalist gathering in Charlottesville, Virginia, that left one dead in August.

UF cited the Charlottesville violence in rejecting an initial request from Spencer to speak at the university, but later relented on free speech grounds. Florida’s governor declared a state of emergency for the event.

Andrew Anglin, the American blogger who runs the neo-Nazi Daily Stormer website, has called on followers who are unable to attend Spencer’s speech in Florida to target Jewish and African-American institutions, the Anti-Defamation League said.

According to the ADL, Anglin provided his white supremacist supporters with the addresses of the Chabad Jewish Center, the Institute of Black Culture and other locations in Florida and suggested they hold “flash demos” there, similar to the brief rally Spencer led in Charlottesville earlier this month.

Chabad director Rabbi Berl Goldman said that dozens of Jewish students, parents and staff members had contacted him with worries regarding the event.

Putin Proposes New Common Currency Among Former Soviet States To Replace The Dollar

Is this the beginning of a major change in world economy? You bet! They are trying to convince the world that “The West is Doomed, our system failed. Putin and the East is the future!”. Yes, unfortunately, Putin is the future. International communism is the future and Trump is part of it. No two sides in the game. Keep a close eye on more news like these and the subliminal brainwashing messages like the second article below, this is just the beginning of the change.

Putin's Currency

“Putin proposes new common currency among former Soviet states to replace the dollar,” Source:

When Russian President Vladimir Putin submitted a bill aimed to help de-dollarize the post-Soviet space, it came as no surprise for many in the former U.S.S.R.

On August 28, Putin asked parliament to ratify a treaty among members of the Commonwealth of Independent States that would expand the use of their national currencies — instead of the dollar or euro — in foreign trade payments and financial services.

The move came as the ruble and other currencies across the region continue to suffer. It followed months of calls in Russia for the creation of a single currency for the Eurasian Economic Union, which comprises Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

The proposed name: the “altyn.

For many, altyn sounds less Russian than Turkic — an impression that is completely accurate and raises many questions.

The word, although not Slavic, is inseparable from the history of Russian statehood, as are many other Turkic-origin words related to the Russian government and financial system.

So, why altyn?

Starting in the 15th century, the altyn was a major currency in what we today call Russia.

Many relate its name to the Turkic word “altyn” — gold.

An employee counts Russian ruble banknotes at a small private shop selling home appliances in Krasnoyarsk December 26, 2014. REUTERS/Ilya Naymushin An employee counts Russian rouble banknotes at a small private shop in Krasnoyarsk Thomson Reuters

But there is another explanation. If we look at the exchange rate of the altyn against another former Russian monetary unit, the denga (also Turkic: tanga or tenge), we will see that one altyn was equal to six half-dengas. Six in Turkic is “alty” — and here lies the root of the currency’s name.

The Golden Horde, of which many Russian principalities and territories were part — and of which Muscovite Russia was certainly a successor — had half-denga coins.

Denga, like altyn, is of Turkic origin. The Russian word “dengi” — money — is derived from denga.

The altyn and the denga circulated in Russia for centuries, until the end of the 18th century. Later, the name altyn went completely out of usage after the image of St. George on a horse with a spear started being engraved on the back of the coin. Spear is “kop’ye” in Russian, and the word “altyn” was gradually replaced by a derivative of kop’ye — “kopeyka” or kopeck.

The half-kopeck coin survived the Russian Revolution and was in use in the Soviet Union until 1928.

russian kopeck A Russian Kopeck. Лобачев Владимир via Wikimedia Commons

Another trace of the altyn, the three-kopeck coin, continued to circulate until the Soviet breakup of 1991.

Echoes of the altyn also rang out in the Russian word “pyatialtynnik” or “pyatialtynny” — meaning “five altyns” and used as a synonym for a 15-kopeck coin.

As for denga, it is the root not only of the Russian “dengi” but also the national currency in the Turkic-speaking Kazakhstan — the tenge. Over in Turkmenistan, another Turkic-speaking Central Asian nation, the tenge is the smallest monetary unit, with 100 tenges making one manat.

The smallest monetary unit in Kazakhstan is called the “tyin” — a Turkic world that was used by tens of millions of Soviet citizens for the Russian kopeck.

In the Russian language, it was preserved in “poltinnik” (half-a-tyin), which was used originally for 50 kopecks (half a ruble), but in the modern Russian language is used to replace the word “fifty” — as in 50 rubles, or even $50.

And someone who turns 50 in Russia might say, “Mne poltinnik stuknul” — I hit 50 (or, more literally, 50 hit me).

A picture illustration shows Kazakhstan's tenge and U.S. dollars banknotes in Almaty, Kazakhstan, August 21, 2015. REUTERS/Shamil Zhumatov Picture illustration shows Kazakhstan’s tenge and U.S. dollars banknotes in Almaty. Thomson Reuters

While history is often rewritten to serve political aims or conform to current societal preferences, languages still carry historic “proofs.”

The Russian history strongly connected with the history of the Turkic-speaking Volga area, and many regions of the North Caucasus and Central Asia, is a part of the common history of the former subjects of the Golden Horde.

After all, such important Russian words related to statehood as “kazna” (state treasury), “kaznachei” (accountant), “tamozhnya” (customs) — from “tamga” (mark or stamp) — are remnants of the state system of the empire called the Golden Horde.

Others include “yarlyk” (label), “tyurma” (prison), “karaul” (guard), “yamshchik” (postman), and many more.

We shall see whether the altyn will return to the former Soviet space. Or should we say the post-Golden Horde space?

Ordinary Russians seem to be having fun with the chaos and disorder consuming Washington, as President Donald Trump and his embattled White House fight back against accusations of collusion with the Kremlin during the 2016 election.

Vendors living in Moscow have taken to creating their own novelty version of U.S. currency, titled “The New Dollars of America.” The Russian joke gift depicts one of the latest versions of the American $100 bill, with an image of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s face transplanted where Benjamin Franklin can normally be seen.

Steven Rosenberg, the BBC’s Moscow correspondent, shared an image of one of the items, captioning the photo, “Judging by this fridge magnet on sale in Moscow, Russia’s president has become rather influential in America.”

Trump’s popularity has continued to decline among U.S. voters as ongoing federal investigations led by special counsel Robert Mueller look into Russia’s meddling in the presidential election and the Trump campaign’s suspected collaboration with Kremlin-linked operatives. The U.S. president’s approval rating has also taken a plunge in Russia, with just 13 percent of Russians reporting positive opinions of Trump, according to an April survey in the region.

Russian-state media and the nation’s citizens have remained skeptical that tensions between the U.S. and Russia will ease under Trump. Meanwhile, Russians appear as divided as the American public on whether Trump’s campaign worked with Putin’s Kremlin to influence the election in his favor. While some have stated their opinion that the Russian scandal is a nothing burger, other Russian activists and journalists have said there is no doubt the Kremlin colluded with the Trump campaign.

The majority of Americans believe the Trump campaign behaved unethically throughout the election season, with 54 percent of those surveyed telling PBS NewsHour/NPR/Marist College in early July they believe Trump’s dealings with Russia were either “illegal” or “unethical.”
